Dear Music Lover,
June 6, 2014 will mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day and the beginning of the Normandy Campaign. Many veterans who served in World War II will be making a journey of remembrance to the beaches of Normandy during this time. The Huron High School Band will be traveling to Normandy in April of 2014 to pay tribute to the veterans and commemorate this historic anniversary by giving a free concert at the Normandy – American Cemetery and Memorial over looking Omaha Beach. The band will play patriotic music to honor those that have made great sacrifices for us.
The band will be performing at a total of 3 wonderful locations in France:

- Located in Paris at the Greek-inspired Eglise De La Madeleine Church, an auditioned concert series open to the public.
- In Normandy on site at the American Cemetery and Memorial, a concert of patriotic music to honor the veterans and commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
- Also in Paris at the beautiful Église de la Sainte-Trinité Church in Paris, a concert open to the public.
